simonw Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Which 4 letters do you have? (positions only, as letters would be spoilers. ) Positions 2 to 5
6Foot2 Posted January 25, 2022 Author Posted January 25, 2022 Positions 2 to 5 OK. It's 'gettable' from there. Do something else for a while. I am sure it'll come to you if you let your subconscious work on it for a while. It often works for me when I get stuck.
6Foot2 Posted January 25, 2022 Author Posted January 25, 2022 White on white for hint... That hidden hint appears in plain text in my E-Mail notification.
simonw Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 White on white for hint sweet I must be playing a different game as my letters don't conclude to your clue, thank you though.
6Foot2 Posted January 25, 2022 Author Posted January 25, 2022 I must be playing a different game as my letters don't conclude to your clue, thank you though. Odd! The clue matches the solution for today.
simonw Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 I was playing via the app on mobile. Are the words different to a browser game on a daily basis?
jthompson Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 There's no mobile app, only the web version.
simonw Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 There's no mobile app, only the web version. Ah, I've just looked at the app I have "Wordle - Daily Word Puzzle" and its 'In development' and 'Early Access'.

jthompson Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 If people like the idea of good, simple puzzle games without any ads, trackers or IAP BS, I can heartily recommend Simon Tatham's Puzzles. There are some absolute gems in there. Available in all good app stores and on the web. 1
