Theblacksheep Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 (edited) Appears to be very dead. Edited December 3, 2021 by Theblacksheep

Bromcom_John Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 (edited) I know the team are aware and are dealing. Try it now, my own system is now responding quickly, as I would expect. Edited December 3, 2021 by Bromcom_John

IP Address changes, should have had a email about that one to change IP in web filters/Firewalls https://docs.bromcom.com/knowledge-base/ip-address-changes/ Seems fine now 3
Oaktech Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Just had service emails to say it's working but being monitored closely. I'm always sceptical of what is being monitored after those emails come out, not just from Bromcom... Which platform is being monitored, the one that has been faulty or the customer service call volume.
SpaceInvader83 Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 You can see historically the latency is usually way under 1s and as service status pages go it's nice to be able to drill down into more detail.
paulkerton Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Seems to be a lot quicker now than it was first thing this morning.
Popular Post Bromcom_Support_2 Posted December 3, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 3, 2021 Hi everyone, this is now resolved. As Jaan has pointed out we made some changes to the application gateway this week, and despite extensive testing and further checks this morning at 0800, at around 0830 we could see a queue beginning to form and had reports that some users were unable to login. The team quickly identified the issue and made some changes which resolved it. We have updated the service status page with the incident - https://status.bromcomcloud.com/. Very sorry for any inconvenience caused. As usual if you experience any issues today, please let support know. Best wishes, Bromcom support 5
supportman Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Now thats great support!! thanks for the explanation and quick fix. 1
ITGURU Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Even with cloud based services, they'll still come to IT and ask how long it will be down ! At least with on-site MIS i can give an answer and make changes when i want to, not when cloud providers want to.

It's much the same issue as when there is a power cut, or the internet is down, or for facilities when the boiler breaks down. But yes, it is frustrating when you're the messenger only, but not the one in control. 1
supportman Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 It's much the same issue as when there is a power cut, or the internet is down, or for facilities when the boiler breaks down. But yes, it is frustrating when you're the messenger only, but not the one in control. I like it this way round. It was a clear issue they knew about and fixed within 45mins. I'd much rather be drinking tea than having to troubleshoot it Whats more is that because Bromcom, Arbor ect are the developers as well as the hosters they have a whole view of the system so fixes should be very quick in theory.
