Hi all,

 

Routing off-site IOS devices through onsite Smoothwall box for filtering.

 

 

How do you do it ??

 

I assume this would require a VPN connection or outward facing proxy ?

I believe what you need to look at is global proxy or mobile proxy, Smoothwall has an article on each:

We do this using an explicit proxy (fortigate) and a pac file pushed out via our MDM. There's a lot more to our setup such as a PHP server and dns routing but I wasn't the one to set it up so don't know the details of it.
