iPad Procurement

We are looking for a new supplier that is able to:

 

1) supply bulk iPads for school use

2) supply iPad bundles to parents via a suitable portal

 

We have a fleet of 350 school-owned iPads and about 1000 parent-owned iPads.

 

Can anyone recommend a vendor we should talk to?

Can we be honest please..?

 

You buy iPads through an Apple Authorised Education Specialist to get education discounted prices, like lots of other ICT companies who jumped onto the iPad bandwagon when they became popular in schools. I don't see Apple on your partner vendor page?

 

Got many schools who are Apple Distinguished Schools or a powerful impactful iPad 1: iPad case study?

Important to ensure that whoever you use can support and supply DEP registration for your devices.

Not sure about the parent portal bit, but we brought our last couple of lots for school use from krcs - came out significantly cheaper than all the other quotes we got.

We've used Academia (formerly Toucan) for our iPad needs in the past, they've always been very knowledgeable and helpful.

 

I imagine they'll be able to handle the volumes you want, although you'll have to ask them about the portal side.

We use Jigsaw24, we run a 3 year parent lease scheme, Parents order through an online portal. We have an separate portal where we can track parent payments on all iPads and check progress on any insurance claims made.

It all works very well, and I'm happy to recommend them.
