Lee_K_81 Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 few, thought it was just my internet connection messing up again!
Lee_K_81 Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Thought it was just me. quick reply doesnt seem to work either Edit: scratch that, quick reply does work, it's just very slow on the refresh.
FN-GM Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Seems like others have had it http://www.edugeek.net/forums/edugeek-net-site-problems/20940-invalid-argument-supplied.html
Gatt Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Non encountered this - but have noticed that the "Unread Posts from last visit" function seems to be missing?
Pyroman Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 is edugeek messing about for anyone else? keeps taking 3 or 4 refreshes to load the page
SteveBentley Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I was getting "Connection Refused" not long ago.
Ric_ Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I believe that the Farcehosts server has gone a bit doolaly (again).
Pyroman Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 did edugeek change hosta after the last farce? or we still with fasthosts? getting a little better for me but still really slow on the page load
Ric_ Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 did edugeek change hosta after the last farce? or we still with fasthosts? The site is currently balanced across the Farcehosts server and our new one - hence why it's not completely vanished.
Pyroman Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 The site is currently balanced across the Farcehosts server and our new one - hence why it's not completely vanished. take it it's the farcehosts side messing then? glad it's not my side anyways that's all i need today, the LA 'net connection messing about!
Dos_Box Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 It is a Fasthosts problem, and is being investigated.
Edu-IT Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 It is a Fasthosts problem, and is being investigated. Won't be expecting a fix anytime soon then.
Dos_Box Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Won't be expecting a fix anytime soon then. Not from them anyway!
Hightower Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Access is slow Very slow Thought the site was moving away from that hosting company anyways, after the last time we were left without a forum for ages.
Dos_Box Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 We are moving away, we just can't do it overnight as we are quite large y'know! In fact we should be off Fasthosts in the next week or so. Currently our database is on one server and the forum pages on another.
CHR1S Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) Things should be getting faster now hopefully. Much quicker than it was, just not quite back to 100% Untill you try to post or edit where it slows right down again... Edited March 2, 2009 by CHR1S
EduTech Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 yes it has been very slow, at one point i could not even get on.. it has improved though now as i am able to read my personal messages and reply to this topic Cheers Z ** bloody farcehosts!!! **
