howartp Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Does anyone know anything about this? My colleague has downloaded what is on Keys to Success but the webpage still says 2020/21 and the year dates in the spreadsheet end in March 2021. She's being hounded by colleagues in school but presumably until it arrives online we can't do anything about it? Peter
Seb1780 Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Pupil Premium is calculated once per year - and then it is a financial year *not* academic year. PP is paid from April based on the status of pupils in January (moving to October this year). At this point in September there is no such thing as 2021/22 pupil premium, figures will be collected in the October census and the premium payments calculated thereafter (date not yet confirmed) for payment from April 2022. If you want to *forecast* what that payment will be you need to adjust the 2020/21 figures by removing any leavers (mainly Y11 who left in June) and adding in any new arrivals (mainly Y7 who arrived in September).

Peter PP data isn't on Keys to Success any more, you can get this year's allocation from Get Information About Pupils. Edited September 17, 2021 by a_masters
sefton Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 If you want to search on GIAP there is currently an issue in that any UPN that the system doesn't recognise as being eligible for PP will stop a file being produced for download, so you almost need to know your PP students before you can use the search to check if they are entitled to PP, some world class quality assurance from the DFE.
resin1 Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Couldn't quite believe that when I read it, as had successfully used it over the summer. But just tried and you are dead right. Speechless. What baffles me more, is that GIAP is still clearly showing as "BETA", and therefore I haven't been trusting it much apart from finding UPNs for pupils where we hadn't managed to source from a previous school (hallelujah they finally gave us that ability!). And I seem to recall last year, when comparing the previous funding list export from K2S against what GIAP was giving, there were some differences, so again reason to be wary of GIAP in Beta. So now they add something only on a Beta site, and then introduce a bug that makes it impossible to export. Class!!! If you want to search on GIAP there is currently an issue in that any UPN that the system doesn't recognise as being eligible for PP will stop a file being produced for download, so you almost need to know your PP students before you can use the search to check if they are entitled to PP, some world class quality assurance from the DFE.
