Activpanel Backlight coming through

I have reported this to Promethean today but just thought id see if anyone else has experienced this issue.

 

The backlights (im guessing thats what they are) are showing through the screen. I have added a picture so you know what i mean.

 

Ive had it twice this week at 2 different clients, anyone seen this before?

Yep seen this on my older TV. Within the lightbox there are lenses that sit over the LED strips. These are usually glued in place. The glue fails after a period of time so the lenses fall off. Look closely at the bottom of the screen - I bet you can see where the lenses are sitting
