Cloud Native C# Developer - Hull – Junior to Mid-Level 25k-40k depending on experience.

The opportunity to join a growing team in a small dynamic company where you can make a difference. You will be the main coding developer creating our scalable serverless function driven product while maintaining the management web app. Our product is used by hundreds of thousands of students and teachers to improve online learning outcomes by streamlining Microsoft Teams deployment.

We care about the quality of the code we produce and will take the time to improve existing code, without just bolting new bits on haphazardly. We will provide all the tools needed to do your job and help you in improving your skill base.

Your work will be conducted from our Office at C4DI in Hull, although some occasional travel and hotel stay may be needed to allow us to meet as a team and best support our customers. You may need to work from home temporarily during COVID-19 restrictions.

What we do

Our products integrate Microsoft School Data Sync with Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and other products. Although mainly written in C# they use several different technologies to integrate with all the different systems, from Office 365 Graph and CSOM web APIs.

The product has been developed over the last 3 years to provide a scalable solution for provisioning value added features to Microsoft’s current School Data Sync offering.

The exact skills we are looking for will depend on your experience, although C# is a core requirement. However, your attitude will be key, we will be looking for someone who:

· uses their initiative and gets things done

· has a hunger to learn new skills

We require experience with the following:

· Experience and interest in cloud based scalable technologies are crucial to this role (AWS, Azure or similar).

· Web applications (ASP.net Core or similar)

· Azure Dev Ops (or similar)

· Serverless Functions

· SQL

· Version Control Software

Experience in the following would be beneficial but is not required (but you would need to be able to pick it up quickly):

· Azure Dev Ops

· Azure Functions

· REST/CSOM

· Office 365 Graph API

· Azure Key Vault

· Azure SQL

· GitHub

· PnP and other third-party libraries

For a senior developer we would also be expecting agile skills, especially test-driven development.

This role is working with sensitive data, we require an enhanced DBS check is carried out.
