Dos_Box Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 They kept this quiet. http://www.timeuk.com/ I brought my first ever PC from this bunch of cowboys in 97. A Cyrix 200. Awful, awful machine. I don't know how they did it, but it is the same people who ran time before (you know, when they went belly up in a very spectacular way). perhaps it is some kind of jobs creation initiative in East Lancs?
Norphy Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 It could be worse. The Tiny brand name and assets got bought by Watford Electronics /shudders
ConTheITGuy Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 There was a local shop near me who closed "due to financial reasons". When another shop opened in the same place, mysteriously similar to the previous, it was called... "Version 2"! Tickled me! Andy.
ChrisH Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Yes I heard about this last week. It's a bit to close to home for me everyone will be buying them then asking me why X Y Z doesnt work
john Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Yeah, they have been alive for nearly 1 month now, I am shuddering already! I am not a fan of theres, too many badly made PCs for me. I do feel sorry for the job losses but hope they improve (as if thats likely!)
E1uSiV3 Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 My mates dad bought a TV off these guys when they went belly up, never got the TV...
