General question regardless of the MIS system you happen to be using...

Any schools out there using classroom based iPADS for the capture of attendance through the day?

If so, could you outline how you set them up to be optimised for ease of use and speed of taking the register?

Also, how did you secure them in the classroom to ensure they didnt go walkabouts

Do you use any particular software to manage them?

Are they multiuser in that multiple teachers can use the same device depending on who is using the classroom?

Many thanks.

Answers to any or all of the above would be great

We're primary so it's a bit different to secondary.

It's down to individual staff whether they use it or not, but we have the MIS app pushed to all staff devices via MDM - one site is Meraki the other is Apple school manager. Generally the devices are personally assigned and are for recording other evidence as well so are single user.

Our MIS app requires both a staff login to the app and a pin to access registers.
