Any idea of costs? Their website doesn't list any prices so I am guessing it's quite expensive?

 

Blocky for Veeam is priced based on the total backup disk volume capacity

 

It would be interesting to know how cost effective it was compared to just using the hardened repository feature in Veeam B&R v11.

Yep wouldn't bother with 3rd party items now with hardened if you wanted that route, still feel an off-site backup is better choice though

A hardened local repository plus an immutable cloud backup would be even better.

 

You are right though. If you had to choose one or the other, I would go for the off-site backup first.

No needs to be Linux file system using xfs.
