Retrieving files from user associated with old server

Hello all,

 

I have just changed servers as the previous one crashed on me.

 

One of my users was still logging onto their laptop signing in onto the old server creating a temp profile I would assume as the old server is offline.

 

She was saving documents onto this 'temp' profile, so a good 6 months worth of documents.

 

Today I have just changed the domain on the laptop to connect to the new server.

 

Now I am unable to retrieve the documents that she has saved onto that profile.

 

I have checked the local C: drive on her user profile/documents, but did not find any luck unfortunately.

 

Has anyone come across this before, please let me know this urgent!!

Was the folders being redirected to the old server ?

Was the temp profile warning that nothing would be saved?

@Jcx500 not 100% sure but I would assume it would have been, but the old server has been off for a good 6 months

@bknaggs possibly but the user is unsure
