Lenovo V15 Hard reset?

You know in laptops you can take the charger and battery out, then press and hold the power button and it clears a bunch of stuff? Does anyone know how to do it in laptops you can't remove the battery from, specifically the Lenovo V15 IIL? I've Googled but can't find it.

For what reason can't you remove the battery? I'm just curious.

Well I suppose you can, but it involves taking the laptop apart as opposed to the ones where you press a button and it pops out. The other HPs we have where you can't just drop the battery out have a key combination which does it meaning you don't have to take the whole thing apart!

You could try looking up how put the battery in 'shipping mode' either with key combinations or in the BIOS. I'm not sure if that would let you discharge the caps but wouldn't hurt to try.

Did you wipe the disk as part of imaging? If not, there appears to be a NOVO "hole" rather than button on that model.

These laptops arent the best for maintenence. We have about 50 of them and im just dreading the day they go wrong. We took one apart and what a mission it was. All's I will say is be careful, very cheaply built.
