Merry Christmas Everyone

 

 

Mrs mikeprice's son and his partner came round this morning with kids 1 and 2 so we could 'do presents' quickly then they left the kids with us so they could go and see kid 3 in hospital (3.5 weeks old etc etc as documented elsewhere)

 

Then - when they got to the hospital - they asked and were told the other 2 could come and see their baby brother for the very first time - up to now only Mum and Dad have been allowed to.

 

8 year old girl was excited, then worried, then something else -

4 year old boy (probably more like 2.5 - 3 in his development) just looked and then carried on playing

but when we got to the hospital and we went to go to the door he just dropped his dirty sticks and grass with no fuss - which he never does - so he clearly understood more then we thought

 

 

 

So - all 3 grand kids together for the first time - if only for a few minutes

 

hopefully kid 3 might come home in 3-4 weeks and we will finally be able to see him

 

 

so - basically - good day

 

turkey in oven

 

sprouts peeled

 

presents opened

 

 

 

best day of this year by a long way
