Hi

I've been trying to run a report I've created in Bromcom, and having checked that all of the fields on step 2 of the Web Merge process are OK (please see attached document for clarification), I clicked on OK, whereupon a box appeared stating that the merge was in progress, and eventually another box appeared, stating that the merge operation had successfully completed, and asking whether I wanted to return to the report parameter page.

However, when I clicked on OK, there was no indication as to (a) what I need to do next to proceed further, (b) where the newly created merged reports could be viewed.

Is there a stage of the process I've inadvertently missed, or have I overlooked the need to do something?

I have raised the matter with our immediate Bromcom point of contact, but he is currently unavailable and stated he'd logged the issue via their support site. Ideally I would speak to someone at the helpdesk - but because Bromcom is currently running incredibly slowly on our network, it would be pointless trying to explain the issue to someone, as I'd be waiting literally minutes for each individual stage of the process to go through.

Is there anyone out there who can point me in the right direction?

Many thanks in anticipation.

Hi @CarterUSM

Depending on where you chose to save the web merge report it may appear in different places on the system. I would be worth checking the My Documents page, which can be found from the drop-down menu when clicking your profile picture at the top right, this is the most common place web merges are saved to. There is also an article and training video for web merge reports on our Documentation Centre here if you would like any more clarification:

https://docs.bromcom.com/knowledge-base/how-to-create-a-mail-merge-report/

If you have any further issues locating your completed web merge document, please do speak to our Helpdesk. If you would prefer not to call us, we do also have a Live Chat function available or you can raise a support ticket if you like.

Kind regards

Bromcom Support.
