We have got a Promethean Board (APT-70) that has stopped recognising USB connection. It's fixed to the wall, so it's not a case of cables being pulled out all the time. We have tried power draining, changing the USB, plugging directly into the board, different devices etc. On no device does it detect the board and appear as a device, the board is displaying fine via HDMI, VGA etc no problem and playing sound, there is just zero interactivity.

We have had a response from Promethean which says it will cost £700 to come and look at the board, when it's just the USB I find that a little steep! Are there any local (to midlands) that offer to look at / repair boards?

Or any suggestions!
