[sims] Exam result changes in Exams Organiser

Morning all,

 

I am in post as Exams officer for Maternity cover. We have had a few changes to exam results due to appeals for the Summer exams.

 

Do the amended grades come through VIA A2C for the handful of students? to import into exams organiser, or is there a manual way to override the original grades?

If there are a lot of changes the board may issue a new results file, in which case you can pull it down using A2C and import it in the normal way.

Otherwise you can make manual changes by creating a results marksheet for the relevant subject. This will pull through the marks already in the system and allow you to edit them. We normally just create a results marksheet for the whole yeargroup for each subject so we can deal with results of appeals and re-marks as they come in. different this year of course, but the principle is the same.

 

If you are using SIMS for data analysis you will also need to re-run the Edit PI routine after you have edited the grades.
