elsiegee40 Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Apollo Renewable’s A van just overtook us on the M25 with an apostrophe that made us wince. Turns out the sign writer isn’t to blame. Their brand designer needs shooting though
Dos_Box Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Was watchign a watch review on YouTube over the weekend (I'm a watch nut) and this GMT was being reviewed. It's a lovely watch, and at a fantastic price, but the designers really need to learn about kerning! Really triggered my OCD that did!
MartinT Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Really triggered my OCD that did! In the 'I&W'? Yes, agreed, the kerning is a bit off.
Dos_Box Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 In the 'I&W'? Yes, agreed, the kerning is a bit off. And the excessive kerning on 'Carnival' too. Way OTT.

Got to be a typo from the graphic designer (auto-correct fail for the win) or a photoshop! But that's OK because everyone knows you spell the collective name for the internal human frame of bones as skelington...

Koldov Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 . I heard on the news that the Rules banning multibuy deals on foods and drinks high in fat, salt, or sugar – including buy one get one free deals – will be delayed for another two years until October 2025 due to the cost of living crisis... adding more fuel to fire and promoting the idea that eating rubbish, processed foods is cheaper than eating healthily. I'm not sure why those that enjoy eating 'houmous' should be penalised... well... on the other hand...
Koldov Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Surely it’s not an all day breakfast then? Actually, I wonder if there is anywhere that does genuinely serve an 'All Day Breakfast' all day...?
Koldov Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 . At least it appears to be on the wet floor/cleaning in progress type of signage...
Koldov Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Susan Album Party all over again... It was a very 'sus' party, that's for sure!
JRA Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 . I didn't get this for a really REALLY long time. I was like "Houmous? Why is that funny? Is it the low fat one?" "What's funny about houmous?" "The onion houmous is at a funny angle maybe it's that." "Is it that?" "It's just houmous I think. Tubs of houmous..." I need a sit down and a cry.

JRA Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 Not only that, but last I checked, 3*1.4 < 5 HAHAhahaha it's ok I did eventually get there.
6Foot2 Posted June 22, 2023 Author Posted June 22, 2023 HAHAhahaha it's ok I did eventually get there. Sorry, I try not to labour the point in my posts, my reasoning being that it would be "putting the punchline at the start of the joke" 1
mikeprice Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 I have been getting this advert on "another forum" Really not sure that their target market will be as large as possible by addressing them as "Elderly Men" I might use a phrase like " the older man" or basically just not mention age and use some other feature and anyway - what is different about an older man's foot? (and NO - I can;t just look down and see - cheeky whatsits!!!!!!) 2
6Foot2 Posted July 20, 2023 Author Posted July 20, 2023 There's more than one lift with buttons like this? 2
JRA Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Someone installed and signed off on MORE THAN ONE of those. :( 1
Dos_Box Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 I wonder how many people had to be rescued from those lifts!
smurfomatic Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Who actually designed that and thought it was a good idea? Instruction sign also really helpful for visually impaired people...
