Dell Server Batteries

Hi All,

 

We've had a perc h800 battery go full spicy pillow, trying to locate an official dell replacement but can't find any that look from a legit website or arrive anytime soon. We have a 3rd party one currently but that's the one that's gone spicy so would prefer to have an original one. Where do you guys source yours from? The Part no is x8483, model is M164C.

Have you tried Upgrade Options? That’s where Dell pushed me when I wanted things like that.

Upgrade Options are worth a call , have helped me out in the past

Dont have much to add to the above two posts but I like "spicy pillow"

In the past I've called the account manager at Dell and they've been able to quote for a brand new one.

 

I've also called up support and had perc batteries replaced under warranty, you are running servers in production that are covered by warranty right?
