Yup Bromcom does sign-in with 365 and G Suite. With the G Suite side of it, it can sync timetables to calendar, user provision, photo sync to profiles, classroom and groups sync and integrate with Drive too. Dunno about the 365 side on that.

If you go to Config > Setup > Security Settings - and click "View Accounts" under Single Sign On, you will be presented a pop-up, which provides you an IMPORT option under "Show Accounts without Single Sign On" - after this, users can login to the system with their own Google or Microsoft Account - without need to know their BROMCOM account details. I hope this makes sense. 1

Hi Kenny, Clicking "CSV" export button at the top of the table gives you the CSV file with the staff pre-populated, you just need to populate "Single Sign On Account" column and use that file for the import. I hope it makes sense.
DODICT Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 (edited) I'll add, because I think its relevant to someone looking at Bromcom, this import feature was added in 3 months from us demoing the system to launching it. We wanted SSO with 365 and it works great and makes the launch/enboarding sooo much less stressful. However initially self registration was required so the user had to log in once - the exact problem we wanted to avoid and would have necessitated issuing separate credentials for this initial log in. In speaking with Bromcom they helped us import 365 accounts into the back end for our training system and by the time we launched the function was there to import via csv which saves so much time and along with adsync users have a really quick easy route to logging into a machine and accessing the MIS. Its Bromcom's readiness to listen and ability to respond so rapidly that continues to impress me and gives me confidence that the system will continue to improve and evolve but always with the customers needs as their focus. They arent the only ones doing it right but I'd say there's about 80% of schools in England that arent getting that from their MIS provider and havent been for some time . .. I mean I don't want to assume what you're saying when I read between the lines on this, but I'm pretty sure at the last count its closer to 75% .

CyBeRkId2002 Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 It's funny that I have stumbled across this thread today as it ties in quite well with where we are up to with our SSO integration. We joined Bromcom a little over a year ago and I was a little under-whelmed with the SSO integration to the point where I felt it was actually more of a security risk than a . At that time staff had to self-enroll and their was not the option of doing this administratively. Couple this with the inability to set approved domains and we opened up the risk of staff linking personal accounts with less rigorous password policies etc. and we decided to hold-fire. We did feedback to Bromcom at this point on what we would like to see implemented in this regard . Fast forward to this week and I happened to check if there had been developments in this area (clearly not reading the release notes as well as I thought I had) and much to my delight you can now set the account to be used per user via CSV upload! We are now in the process of syncing these with our MFA-enabled accounts across our trust I can sleep far better knowing the data has an extra level of protection! It really is another example of Bromcom taking on customer feedback and providing changes to help drive forward the product. We have seen this across the board with developments in all key areas! I have been meaning to update my post about our MIS migration experience with a 1 year on post, and will do that shortly, but this serves as an example to how the system is becoming more refined release after release. 2

We use both Google and Microsoft and, whilst we would like to use MS for authentication and sign-in, we would love to be able to link Bromcom to Google Classrooms to create and populate classes. It is something I have had on my radar for the summer (using the Salamander tool) but if the functionality is there in Bromcom, all the better.
