SIMS compatibility Office 365

Like most I'm working on developments for summer and trying to establish what version of Microsoft Office to install. Currently running 2016 and looking whether to deploy 2019 or 365 Pro Plus. I can see from the SIMS technical road map that SIMS will support Office 2019 from this summer. Does anyone know if they support Office 365 client installations? Would be great to install the latest version to match what users have at home... Anyone see anything?

Office 365 Pro Plus.

 

We've opened numerous tickets about SIMS things, and when asked (once) about the Office version we said 2016 (a 'mistake', the 'user didn't know any better' ) and they proceeded to fix the issue, which had nothing to do with Office.

 

If Capita ever turned round and said that they wouldn't provide support because we were running Office365 that would be the end of them for us. Now, if they said can we roll back to the current or previous Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel release, I would grumble but would accept it as a reasonable solution to a Line-of-Business critical issue, provided of course they had it fixed for the next SAEC release.

I agree, you have to start considering it. We'll end up with another General Election before they are ready to move to the cloud. It's time to stop holding back!

I would love to move away... I'm already asking those questions but nobody is ready to jump.. hence being stuck... just don't want to upgrade and then find issues later on
