As you probably control your firewall at this point, reverse VNC makes sense, eg https://www.uvnc.com/products/uvnc-sc.html

 

You run the VNC client, they run a preconfigured VNC server that connects to your client.

 

a) no problem with a 3rd party being hacked

b) no open ports on their end

c) you can run the server on an isolated machine that's just for receiving connections if you wish

This looks promising, although it seems like I have to sign up for an account on their site to download it? Do they provide exe files/apps that we can just provide to our users without them needing to sign up, or does everybody have to sign up?
