OneDrive - Installed for all users but will not run

Hi there,

 

I have configured the OneDrive GPO and want to test it but when I install OneDrive on to a PC with the /allusers switch, the icon doesn't appear and when double clicking the onedrive.exe file, nothing happens, even when trying with an admin account.

 

Anyone got any ideas?

What type of profiles are you using? It doesn’t seem to play well with anything other than local IME - even then, it can be an issue as it creates the sync folder in the local profile rather than any network home folder. That was a deal/function breaker for us.

I see, so did you use a different method? are your staff working from Docs stored OneDrive (which is my ultimate goal)

There's a GPO under Windows Components -> OneDrive called 'Prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage' that I've had to change to disabled before to allow OneDrive to work. Without doing that, the program just wouldn't launch.
