My dad works on the railway and every time a station is renamed for a day it causes him a lot of issues with non regular travelers and visitors!

I was just saying to our office manager when I showed her this article that it must be so confusing for those who don't know stations / language barriers etc if your looking for an exact station on paper and get London St Pancakes instead of Pancras must be bad haha

Darn, too slow.

 

Of course after eating a pancake you should climb the 199 steps in Whitby to celebrate those who decided when pancake day would be each year, to burn off the calories.
