Inventry Visitor Manangement - Quality of photos on badges

Does anyone who uses Inventry have issues with the quality of the printed badges? When the system prints the badge you cannot see the photo of the visitor. The photo of the visitor on the system is clear. They have provided us with a Brother printer and we use genuine Brother 'black on white' labels.

We get the same issue. Bear in mind all it is is a fancy label printer I believe with thermal transfer printing which isn't going to produce the best quality image.

I found the red and black label roll better than the black rolls. Same price. Just everyone has a slight redish tinge to the picture.

Have you checked the printer driver to make sure it is set to the highest quality? Also I believe with the Brother printers there is a Printer Settings Tool which also contains print quality options.

It's likely to be the label printer is not good enough quality - generally the cheap ones can only print one colour, pure black. No gradients no different colours just dark black or white. This works well for text but is not going to work well for printing photos.

if its one of the newer printers InVentry use (ql800) you can use the black and red rolls that produce a much clearer badge. Other things to try is change the angle of the screen to put more light on the visitors. raising the brightness on the webcam also helps with the badge quality, yawcam is installed on the systems so just use that to adjust them.

We have found the same and its actually led to complaints from visitors. Will be trying the black and red rolls soon see if that helps but tried almost everything else.

We have just swapped to the black and red ones and pictures are much better. Have a reddish tinge to them but person can be recognised. Thanks all.
