Hi All, I've after some advice on getting a wireless headset for our Reception phone at the school.

It's an NEC DT300 Series DTL-32D-1P (BK) TEL Model DLV (XD) Z-Y (BK) phone. It has a headset socket and a handset socket on the bottom of the unit. There's the handset plugged into the handset socket, but nothing plugged into the headset socket.

I'd like our Reception staff to be able to use the wireless headset and/or handset if they want. With the headset connected, can they still use both the normal phone handset and the headset if they choose?

From some research I've come across these two that seem like they might do the job, but I'm an IT guy not a phone guy. I've just been asked to have a look at the options for our admin team for a headset, but want to make sure we get one that works with the reception phone.

Would these work with the phone for a wireless headset and a remote answer from the headset? Has anybody had any experience using the NEC phone model or any of these units below?

Headset - Plantronics CS510 (1 ear) or Plantronics CS520 (2 ear)

Remote answer unit/lifter - Plantronics HL10 Lifter

Thanks
