Outlook with Office 365 Latency

Hi,

 

Is anyone able to share the connection status window of their connection with Outlook when connected to office 365 so I can see your 'AVG RESP' times, and especially if your connection is with KCOM/emPSN.

My outlook always feel laggy tbh, slowest in the office to receive mail but still - hope this helps

We are with empsn/kcom but do in house filtering with Smoothwall. We have had reports from people using the web browser version of outlook that it can freeze for a few seconds when opening new emails.

That's certainly better than ours - i regularly get Outlook freezing with the message 'outlook is trying to retrieve data from outlook.office365.com and i've having this investigated as this is our times below in red.

In smoothwall we tell it not to decrypt/inspect https traffic for https://outlook.office365.com , maybe your getting a performance hit from a webfilter decoding the https traffic?
