There is mixed information out there, but some suggest that wuauclt isn't working on newer versions of windows 10 and to use USOClient instead, from what I can tell this is just to do with triggering Windows update and has no effect on the update process if it manages to trigger it. Have you tried deleting the computer out of WSUS and seeing if it gets re-created when you run windows update again? maybe the entry got corrupt/confused and so doesn't update computers record.

If the computer is showing in WSUS but has never returned a status (ever, it will say it is running windows 0.0 from memory), and this is happening for computers from a specific batch or model rather then all of them, then it could be it has a bad description string in the bios, e.g. invalid characters in the manufacturer/model name/serial that is stored on PC bios. I had this and it took me ages to track down as it doesn't really log anything.

Compare that video to a Barry Lewis one where the camera remains stationary most of the time and he moves it around only when needed (also has advantage you could use usb webcam,possibly with usb extension) on tripod. , I find the wobbling in the Kenji video unpleasant.

If you get a wifi camera (action cam, battery powerd cctv, battery powered wifi baby monitor) where you can view the image on the pc via software/webpage, then she could just share her desktop on google meet.

To fix WSUS cleanup failing on first run (and if not run for a while) I followed the instructions on this page https://www.terminalworks.com/blog/post/2017/10/07/sccm-update-deployment-failing-with-wsus-errors-and-high-system-utilization , I believe it was the asp.net in web.config that made the biggest difference to me, until doing this the command line cleanup failed for me as well.

We use split tunnel here and only allow traffic through to specific severs, forcing everything else direct to the internet, we also use MFA with no problems. If using Microsoft AOVPN how do you define your split tunnel in you .xml file? eg. do you define RemoteAddressRanges, Routes (Disabling the class based default routes), is your internal school network on a different subnet to end users (e.g. if a home users ip address is in the range 192.168.0.0/24, are your internal servers on a different subnet, which can cause intermittant problems)? Have you got any group policy settings in to force certain site/people through your internal webproxy that could be affecting things?

The default can be set for a policy in a drop down menu on the web page now in teams admin, under meetings->meeting policies

Windows can place files at the end of the drive (physically), HyperV can only compact down to the last block used on the drive, so if there is a file at the end of the drive, it wont compact. You need to do a "defrag c: /D" (replacing the C: with drive letter you wish to compact) in your guest, in order to force windows to move everything to the beginning of the drive (The GUI defrag does not do this).

I have the ooni pellet (version 2 I think), have measured 500c with an infared thermometer pointed at the stone. Pizzas are done in under a minute, turning 1/4 way every 15 seconds.

Evohome can work without any internet access, the main controller is a touch screen display where you can setup everything, in fact the v1 and v2 versions of the controller had no built in networking and required an extra addon unit to add it. The newer versions have wifi built in (but not required), by connecting it to the internet it allows webpage, mobile app and alexa/google home control of heating.

Yep, the teacher hasn't got back to me, but just tested that and it looks like that`s whats happening.

I have got a teacher who is informing me that one of the meetings she arranged in a team, told her it had been started by Guest. We allow guests to join meetings but not teams. By default our meetings are set to only auto admit the organizer. I wish to check her meetings to make sure she hasn't changed it. I am the teams admin however I cant find a way how to view the individual meeting settings, any ideas?

Please remember most systems need you to leave a radiator without a trv (ie. Always on) or have a bypass valve fitted to avoid locking up the pump and possibly damaging it, also allowing boiler to cool during run on. Some newer boilers have a bypass valve built in, but usually the manual says you need an external one (or radiator without trv) as well. Opentherm is a communication protocol. The connector will power and communicate with a compatible controller. The only opentherm thermostat system I know of is Honeywell evohome, but there must be others out there.

Thinking about it, you have used the same 10.12.12.0 at both sides of the link, you cant do this with your setup as you are routing the traffic. Traffic matching a machines local subnet wont be sent to a gateway (normally) and even when it does the router wont know which end of the link to send it to. You need to change the subnets at one site so they dont match the other end. This will mean a second dhcp scope etc.

Sorry was wrong about the /32 subnet below hadnt twigged it was your link. I think you need change your subnet mask on vlan 2 /32 only allows one ip, and you are using 10.11.0.1 and 10.11.0.2

Did the voip installers use a different subnet? maybe the voip installers created a new subnet that conflicts with a subnet back on your main network so data is going to the voip network instead of your main site? Could the voip equipment have been given the same ip`s as other equipment on the network, eg the switch/gateway etc?

Also check that the gateway specified on the equipment at the center matches that of the settings on dc02.

It kinda sounds like the router or firewall has been setup to allow traffic through from DC02 but not from the rest of the centers subnet.

We issue mag stripe cards, we use them for photocopiers and about to start using them for cashless catering. Also students can pay a term in advance for the school bus, they get issued with a version which says bus pass, the term it applies to and the bus they catch, this one has to be reprinted each term though :/ . We charge £1 for lost cards, we don`t issue card holders. The cards have student name, school name and bus pass status. They used to have the student photo on them but it was removed after a GDPR review.

Honeywell evohome here, had it ages and it works great, central wireless boiler controller with trv`s. The newer evohome system can work with an opentherm equipped boiler to adjust the water temperature based on demand, to increase efficiency.

The problem we have is that a lot of our students don't have anything more than a mobile phone and no internet at home (other then a small amount of mobile data), so it isn't practical for them to use o365 on it.

Out of interest, what server make/model are you using that take the Samsung PM883 1.92TB ? I have been looking at replacing a server and the storage costs of Dell and HP are huge.
