Popular Post bossman Posted December 10, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 10, 2019 Well I've just had the good news! I am to retire in March next year, 5 years quicker than I expected. This is due to a restructure here and the SLT asking for VR, I've been accepted for mine and all is good so finally after 46 years of working without a break I am to retire for good at the young age of 60. I would like to thank you all for your good advice and help throughout the years and even your witty comments which I have always taken in good humour, your a great bunch of people who have to deal with incredibly complex issues which at times our bosses have never understood and paid us a pittance to boot. We are only on this planet but a short time so my advice is make the most of it and don't dwell on the negative too much! It is what it is and we can only do what we can do! Have a great life everyone and stay focused on life not work!! Thank you! :) 12

Any hobbies lined up?Have two allotments to manage...travel to see my two children...one in Cape Verde and the other in Vietnam...South America beckoning... Photography and of course dancing at Northern Soul events around the country...fishing and golf for relaxation...plus a little consultancy work here and there...so plenty of me time...oh and the usual housework to do so the other half has plenty of me time too on the weekends...[emoji23][emoji4][emoji4] 1
