Are riding a donkey!! 2. 5 tops. Ric and I did Preston - Northampton in just over 2 hours for the last conf.
Ric_ Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I'd like to come but its a four hour journey by car, seven(!) hour journey by train and no airline goes from Luton to Manchester Maybe when you do one down south I'll attend Some people have no dedication! IIRC you can fly Luton to Blackpool - I may be able to squeeze someone else in the car. My turn to drive I belive.
GrumbleDook Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 @norphy: I will be travelling up from Kettering, just up the road from you, if you want to car share. I will be going up the night before. If there is anyone else who wants to car share from round the Northampton area please let me know.
beeswax Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 could we possibly have a car sharing thread, split in to geographical areas perhaps? beeswax
beeswax Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 p.s. unfortunately, my camel will only take one person at a time. beeswax
russdev Posted February 24, 2006 Author Posted February 24, 2006 even better there is a page on wiki for it found it here http://www.russdev.com/edugeek/doku.php?id=edugeek_conference_2006 Russ
webman Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Rochdale != North? Newcastle, on the other hand.....
RobC Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I'd like to come but its a four hour journey by car, seven(!) hour journey by train and no airline goes from Luton to Manchester Maybe when you do one down south I'll attend :)t 4 hours from Luton? Are riding a donkey!! 2. 5 tops. Ric and I did Preston - Northampton in just over 2 hours for the last conf. Heheh. I can beat that. It's about eight or nine hours to Manchester from where I live by car, even longer by train & far too expensive by air. Guess I won't be getting to the Northern conference either. Admittedly, I won't even be working at a school by that time anyway, but that's beside the point...
ChrisH Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 40 minutes drive for me makes a change to be near something
russdev Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 just to let you know we changed schedule slightly learning network manager session been replaced by apple session and the joomla session is now blogging session being presented by josie fraser... Russ
GrumbleDook Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Well ... you'll have to ... so there ... And just for reference, should you attend a workshop and a hat is passed round it is customary to put some money into it ... not take it out ... I know what you lot are like!
