saggu Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 Middle School (Years 5 to 8) - Any good? Yes. Is it easy to do all kind of timetabling on NOVA T? Like teachers timetable, supply time table, P.E and Music timetable etc?
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 I don't think I'd ever describe NOVA-T as easy, comprehensive would be my word of choice. The standard training on how to use it is 4 days long. Once you understand it then making a Primary school level timetable would be easy, it's getting the understanding that is the difficult bit.

We are lucky we have good support, but I would also recommend that you do the timetabling course just to help you get your head around the way Nova-T works - the manual you get from the training is very good. I would say that if you do that then Primary will be easier than Secondary. You didn't give your location so couldn't tell you what local support you would have.

I have seen it being used in a Secondary school and had changed/updated some part of it when the timetables went on long sick leave but since I have not seen the full software so was not sure if it will work on Primary school level or not.

Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Lesson Monitor is fairly cheap these days for a primary school unless they are a very large school, one of ours pays a few hundred a year for the annual entitlement for it.
