3D design software for primary school

Can anyone recommend a free 3D design program which can be used by Year 5/Year 6 children? We started using BlockCAD but it is so buggy that we have had to stop using it.

We did have a look at sketchup but the free version doesn't let you save documents (apart from on google drive).

When you sign up all your projects are saved in your account. Can SSO with G Suite or O365. Projects an be downloaded as STL, OBJ or SVG for use on 3D printers / laser cutters.

We use the last free off-line version of sketchup. Sketchup make 2017 I think it is.

The problem with this is that every kid would have to have their own account which isn't practical.

As above, use older version of sketchup. No accounts needed.

FreeCAD is as it suggests but might be too much for younger pupils.

Also, the Sketchup 2016 was only a trial.

They dropped 32 bit support in the 2017 version and that is the only free one available now. If you aren't on 64 bit you may be out of luck with sketchup.
