Windows Store Apps OneNote

I work at a school and we're having issues installing OneNote app onto our machines.

Is there a way to do a full install across multiple machines via the network, or do we need to do it one by one via the Microsoft Store?

How do you currently deploy software?

Intune or SCCM or Group Policy or script or ?

The OneNote app comes pre-installed on many versions of Windows 10.

SCCM preferably but we do use Group Policy

 

We had some people come in to create us an image without a lot of the bloatware. However, we have since learned that Microsoft will stop supporting the other version of OneNote and want to move onto the OneNote App.

You really need SCCM with the education store setup. This requires azuread and as connect in most cases. You can provision Onenote on machine level. You have to create the app by using the store licensing location in the console. UWP apps if installed manually have to be installed per user if they come from the store.

What about deploying apps in offline mode? Does anyone do it that way?
