I've got a staff member who has managed to lose their license key for ActivInspire (doh!) and they've asked me whether there's any way of me retrieving it. Do you guys know if it's possible to get the lic key out from within the program/program files on the computer? Thanks so much for any support with this

Thanks so much for any support with this Our key was given as a site key when all the boards were installed so only one key was issued. Just call their support they should help. Other than that maybe consider Classflow.
exhaustedittech Posted April 24, 2019 Author Posted April 24, 2019 We don't have the boards themselves, just the ActivInspire software as some of our staff prefer this to the SMART board software. Would the lic key be within any files? or am I shooting in the dark here?

Would the lic key be within any files? or am I shooting in the dark here? If you have bought the licences then Promethean should be able to let you know if you give them a call. But as far as I recall the licenses were per board when I worked in a school with Activ Inspire.

The software could also be purchased at one time as a pro version so if its a genuine purchase then call their support and they may help you out. DangPro Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 If this is a legal copy of ActivInspire you will find the license key here: C:\ProgramData\Promethean\ActivInspire If they have erased or formatted the hard drive the file will be lost. Thanks
