Can I ask a question about this script, I have 99% of it working the way I want to, but adjusting the plain text, How can I get it to show no-standard txt? IE, in the HTML Code I have:

Mit freundlichen Grüßen - Best Regards - which comes out as Mit freundlichen Grüßen - Best Regards

This is perfect, but when I try putting this into plain text, I get

Mit freundlichen Gr??en - Best Regards - I have tried copying the correct code (Grüßen) and just the Grüßen but it still shows as ??

Hello Kevin.

Of course - Can you try using ü for the ü

Mit freundlichen Grüen - Best Regards

Let me know how that goes :)

Thank you.

Hello, I will do some testing as this is not something I have noticed happen before. Which part of the users active directory object is the hyphen in?

Thank you.

Hi QwertyMash...

This user has a hyphen on their last name within the Last name field and their display name which is within the Display name field.

So I just created a fake user with a hyphen in their last name field and display name and it was still displayed totally fine in their signature so I am currently unable to replicate your issue.

Hi All, this is absolutely amazing and really want to implement this but am having issues with the formatting of the output, I am fairly new to this sort of thing and could do with a little help please, we currently have a very simple signature which was created by a previous company employee, this doesn't work any longer, and found the script that lead me here

our current email signature is in the following format:

email sig example.jpg

is anyone able to help with adapting the script to match this please?

I have tried and the closest I can get is:

email sig new example.jpg

font is Arial, name is size 11, the rest is 10, colours are obviously different also but none of that matters currently as I'll be able to sort that I think, with the correct script

any help would be appreciated

thanks

Hello Geoff, I have no reply? Did it work?

Thank you.

How bizarre, I can't see the reply either and isn't letting me post enough info, so will do so here

it didn't work correctly no, but was close, this is what I am getting

Screenshot 2022-04-25 082026.jpg

31arnahuOg8AWQheoBbq1KVqRxu0yVA6AXCsCF4AACJqXi3tAAA0cwQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBARAQvAAAREbwAAERE8AIAEBHBCwBANM79P FEt90ZNwL0AAAAAElFTkSuQmCC

the name needs to be dark blue, Arial 11, I can supply the colours if that makes it easier, the jobtitle should be on 1 line and the same blue as the rest of the info, Arial 10

also a gap between the office number and the start of the Mobile info but no gap between the Office: and the office number

thanks

Geoff

Hi QwertMash, as per my PM, this is what we are getting now:

Screenshot 2022-05-04 083735.jpg

is there any way of getting a space between the name and job title lines, and the job title line with the same formatting as the phone numbers?

thanks

Hi guys, does anyone know how to insert a disclaimer to the bottom of the signature? Cheers :)

Hello, this can be done two ways, you can either add it to the script but it means even internal emails will have it or you can do what most people do and use mailflow rules to append the disclaimer to the bottom of internal to external emails only.
