Renfield-64 Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Hi all, am just setting up some new laptops and Windows Media Player is not there so can't play MP4 files etc. What's going on?

ColonelPanic Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 The "N" build of Windows 10 deliberately excludes Windows' media playing capabilities, to comply with "antitrust" rulings. The normal build contains WMP 12. You can "re-enable" the features by installing the Windows 10 Media Feature Pack. CP.

Will probably have to re-load all the PCs this summer as some are still on Win 7. Which is the best version to go for for a school? We have EES so I think we have most available to us.
