dhicks Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Shout out to any schools with iSAMS who might be interested in sharing their thoughts via email, phone or a visit, I'll buy the coffee... We are moving to iSAMS from School Manager shortly - I'm keen to make sure we set up processes / workflows to use data from iSAMS in an as automated way as possible, an ability that has been rather limited with School Manager. You can PM me for further contact details or reply in thsi thread. 1

benIT Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Partially related. iSams (unlike some other MIS systems) doesn’t allow comments or notes entered under security groups to be added. It’s all staff or nothing. I know you can upload documents with security groups (e.g safeguard group only) but does this present a GDPR issue, having the original documents lying around on network shares? 1
kirbster73 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Isams from pass here too, 2nd year. Also used isams in previous school. Feel free to contact. 1
Ditto Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Are all respondents from the independent sector or are any of you state schools? 1
