I actually wrote it all in static html, css and js. Started from scratch and just kept developing

@bwestlake just a few things that i noticed on your website, on your North Korea blog you've spelled tourist with an 'e' instead of an 'i'

 

Also the formatting is a bit hard to read for me with all the spacing, my suggestion would be to have it in a block paragraph.

 

Other than that its a nice website.

 

Also impressed you met Louis Cole!

Very nice setup. Only change I would make is to put a background, even if it is a transparency, behind the titles (the scroll blog titles). Some of them are white text against very light pictures, such as 22, and although you can roll over to change colour it would be a bit more elegant. The roll over colour change suffers from the same issue so you end up having to read some rolled over and then some as normal.

 

Love the scrolling effect though.
