Can't connect to WIFI virtual controller

Hi,

Until recently I have been able to connect/ logon to OpenManage Network Manager (virual controller) and view all access points by typing in a particular ip address into address bar. Now when I type the ip I receive 404 page does not exist. The wifi still works but I would like to be able to log on and see who has connected with non school devices etc.

I have very little knowledge of setting up wifi and this was setup by another company a few years ago.

Are there simple steps I can take to get back on?

have you checked to make sure you are putting https:// before the ip address, some of my systems require this as if you just put the ip address it uses http and will throw up a 404

 

you may have already tried this but sometimes its the simple things

I have just tried again to make sure of the https://. Unfortunately I had

Do you have any proxy settings specified in your browser, you may need to add an exception it to get to your controller.

Do you have a proxy set up on your computer at all? If so is the ip address of the controller in the proxy exceptions box?

Yes I do but it is the same as it has always been. I have tried to access on other devices too without success. How is the ip assigned to the virtual controller initially?
