SIMS update not available in the update library in SOLUS server

Hi

 

We were with capita enhanced support and now we have gone with a third party SIMS support.

When capita released( SIMS Spring 2018 Full release(7.180.40) this was available on the SOLUS server update library and we used to upgrade the SIMS server and push the update to the client PCs.

 

Now i cannot see the latest release SIMS release on the SOLUS update library.

Will Capita not release the patches to our Solus server??

Do i need to download manually from some other location or contact our 3rd party IT support?

Hi there

 

You need to nominate a support provider before Capita will allow them to make the releases available to you (and then they might need prodding)

 

please contact your support provider and be prepared to be asked to write to Capita confirming that you are taking your support from them

Summer has only been released to Secondary schools, not primary in a lot of cases.

The release is available to all schools and the timing of its application will be managed by your support provider

 

for instance Capita are to apply the release to their hosted schools around the 27th July
