Resource and Room booking using Office 365 and Outlook

Hi,

 

I'm looking at resource booking (mostly ipads and a projector) and room booking (our main theatre) and was interested in whether anyone uses the room/equipment booking facility in Office 365/Outlook. I've had a quick look and it seems workable but if anyone has found limitations it would be good to know before I invest more time into trying it out.

i didn't know it even really had that feature, i used to use a spreasheet system i made but it got a bit clunky after a while. i now use parago inventory management software that is really good. im not sure on the price as it was baught before i started and have only really used it for the last year.

We just set up shared calendars in Exchange for room/minibus bookings and the like. Only the office staff have write access to them but any member of staff can view them.

Could be very useful as the DH was talking about booking out the IT suite and the laptops only yesterday!
