vimagoes Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 (edited) When I upgrade my computer to 1803 Edu last week, my RSAT tool just disappeared, it seems 1803 didn't like it. Thinking about what @Oaktech has said. Try to rollback one computer to 1709 and give it a try, maybe is something with 1803 version. BTW I am still able to use Remote Desktop. I haven't try Hyper-V Manager yet, so I will next week just in case I having the same problem Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using EduGeek mobile app Edited May 26, 2018 by vimagoes
3s-gtech Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 RSAT always disappears during an OS upgrade, just a fun little bonus. Guess it's to ensure proper compatibility.
DJ-1701 Posted June 7, 2018 Author Posted June 7, 2018 Reinstalled Windows 10 1803 and it's been working fine for the last couple of days, all up to date. Strange...
DJ-1701 Posted July 9, 2018 Author Posted July 9, 2018 Argh! 1 month later and it has happened again, but only when communicating with one of the HyperV servers (the primary one typically)… RDP to the VMs themselves is fine still, just the host and connecting to the VMs through the HyperV management console.
DJ-1701 Posted July 9, 2018 Author Posted July 9, 2018 That was odd, needed to reinstall https://www.virtualizationhowto.com/2018/05/windows-10-rdp-credssp-encryption-oracle-remediation-error-fix/ for some reason. Now working fine... again. 1
