Hi all,

I was buying fairly cheap 2m Xenta flat lightening cables @ about £4 from a couple of vendors.

I've run out, come to order some and cannot find any cheap-ish cables anywhere.

£5.50 for a 0.25m cable ?? Come on!?!

Anyone got a supplier I can get some from ? Seems to be a shortage out there.

Cheers in advance ;)

I get the cheap ones from hills components, and have had no issues with them, although we only use them for charging, not sure what they are like for data.

I'd say they break a little more often than the genuine ones, but seem to last pretty well.

I've used these before:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/MASUMARK-Charging-Lightning-Connector-Certified/dp/B0738RQ651/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1521719033&sr=8-3&keywords=masumark

They charge fine and seem to work fine moving files to/from a PC, only thing I found (might have been coincidence as I just tried a single cable) is I couldn't get the ipad to do a content/settings erase when plugged into AC2 on the mac mini and swapping to an "official" cable it worked fine.
