Dreamweaver 8

I'm trying to get Dreamweaver 8.02 working reliably under Wnidows 7 64 bit. Whilst it will load as an adminsitrator, it seems intermittent under a user account - sometimes it loads fine, other times it takes ages or doesn;t load at all.

 

Has anyone come across this, or have any suggestions?

We had these issues when we first migrated to Windows 7 around 2011-2012. Tried various patches and fixes with really sporadic results but nothing stable. We ended up having to move to CS6 in the end.

I *think* if I recall it can have a few blips with appdata redirection (although we used redirection + roaming) it may be worth copying the redirected structure that Dreamweaver creates when it loads successfully into a seperate account and see if it works better then.
