It is currently making very weak efforts to snow. Sadly, it will not settle. I could do with some snow days with the things happening in the coming week.

Hmmm. Weather forecast for tomorrow morning involves 3cm of snow centred on west Kent. I have just been out to put plastic sheets over the car windscreens to make the morning getaway easier.

I have been seeing a lot of musings on the prospects for snow. Some are predicting heavy snowfall in our area, but more credible forecasts seem to be suggesting a cold start with, possibly, a little snow. Waiting for the Countryfile forecast for a better idea about what might happen tomorrow, and in the coming week (Just before 7:30, BBC 1)

Edit: Just saw the forecast. Possibly some snow in our area on Friday, but we will have to wait for more detail. Earlier in the week: For our area again possibly a little snow (nothing to worry about) The cold is the bigger story here.

We're watching BBC1 too. It only takes one snowflake for chaos and three to stop the trains, so we're assuming the worst for an hour or two tomorrow. It will probably all be gone by lunchtime ... assuming it even turns up in the first place.

In South Yorkshire we’ve missed most of the decent snow. Had a little covering one Sunday which was fun to walk the dog in - but gone by the morning.

The best was about 6 years ago where we measured it feet. That was good fun.

Hoping for some more this week - Tuesday and Thursday look the days so far

The youngsters next door are wildly excited, but they are aged 6 and 3 :D

You can see that it’s actually snowing though ... and my car is normally dark blue, not white

A light dusting up on the hill I live at overnight but nothing once I'd reached civilization back down with the valley dwellers... I'm meant to be refereeing today and tomorrow, fields looked frozen solid as I went past so hoping it's PP'd until after half term :)

We have icy snow here. Not flakes but like small, very white, plastic pellets (not hail either) The coverage is pretty good, but not enough to give an all-over covering.
