[closed] bug/error: Thread pages counts wrong?!

On threads this morning I'm seeing "ghost" pages showing as avaialbel but they're not there; clicking a page or next just returns me to the top of the last page.

 

For example, in the IT Request of the Week thread it's showing 200 pages available, but the last I can see (and I think is truely the last) is page 197

Can confirm I'm seeing both of these threads displaying 'ghost' pages. Reset browser cache, closed it down, etc.

Is it counting hidden or deleted posts maybe?

Just done a check and it appears subscribed threads with >100 pages are affected. Other threads with similar page counts, but not subscribed, don't show this.

 

This is clearly the top priority for me today

ive noticed it on a few (annoying/cool) and ive never subscribed to any of them (its just not a feature I use) tried in chrome and ie11

...Another annoying thing, I can see that the last post in this thread is on page 1223 but it keeps on going up to page 1230 on the bar at the bottom, just because it feels like it

I am pretty sure that I know what has happened. ZeroHour operates in a different time zone to the rest of the UK as EduGeek is best maintained when things are quiet outside UK office hours... A large number of posts were removed overnight, but it had to be done in a different way to usual.

This should all hopefully be fixed in the next wee while, I have manually kicked the batch off. Never do any cleaning up late at night!
