Changing Domain Admin Password

I'm looking to possibly change our domain admin password to something more secure.

I already have other dedicated user accounts set up for some software which requires LDAP access etc.

Is there an easy way to audit where the password might be used, so I don't use re-set it and give myself a headache breaking things?

It's no big deal to change it on things it does break though. Mostly photocopiers. If you need to change it, just go for it, it'll be fine!

unless its being use as the account for DHCP / DNS

You could have a look on Event viewer on all DC's to see where it has being logged in from.

There is a tool by cjwebdev (think thats how you spell it) or something like that which can help for most of the tasks and services in use by the account
