Hooray, we have only just managed to get teachers to realise that Skype for business is not the same thing as Skype, now it gets another re-brand. At least they're not calling it almost the same as something they already use like "Word for Communicators" this time.

LOL.

It's New Lync for old Classroom clients. Maybe they could call it 'Email - Live'.

This just totally reminded me of what I had to name shortcuts on my mum's laptop (she never touched a computer until about 3 years ago) - Word was "Writing Letters", Outlook was something like "Posting Letters"

.....MS are thinking!

Let's not say anything we might regret. 🤣

@Katy what did you label the big blue e? "Everything you could possibly want to know ever"?

Teams is quite good but I'm not sure why or how it would replace SfB totally? Who knows what MS are thinking!

Reading elsewhere it might not, it will grab some features from it but not all and they will continue to run alongside each other.

No, that was removed from the desktop and chrome's shortcut got labelled "The Internet". I did have to answer "Where is the blue e?" after mum had been talking to her friends about using the Internet though.

Reminds me of the IT Crowd... "I need a browser installing" "Internet Explorer *is* a browser" "The blue E? No that's the button for the Internet, I need a browser"
