JoeWallace Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Good morning/afternoon all! We're currently having some issues with several staff PC's across site not picking up a second monitor, only one at a time, updated/downgrade drivers, replaced cables.. you name it, we've tried it. We're currently using Windows 10. v.1607 Anybody else come across this issue? Thanks in advance, Joe
unixman_again Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 We've found the generic W10 graphics driver to be pants - better to use one from the graphics card manufacturer. For my ATI Radeon HD2400 Pro there is no W10 driver but the W8 version works just fine.
Steven_Cleaver Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Same here found W10 graphics drivers to be poor when trying to use multiple monitors so have dug around for alternative drivers in some cases as above used Windows 8 drivers.
3s-gtech Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 On 1703 I've had no problems with the downloaded (newest available) graphics drivers found through Device Manager's update wizard, on 100+ PCs. Are you using splitters or native dual outputs?
GuyJD Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I've found it has problems when using cables that switch connection type i.e DVI to HDMI but that could just be cheap cables.
Passat1983ICTech Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 its the drivers you will need to download them as we are running 1607 and some of the driver don't get install from sccm for us
