6Foot2 Posted August 4, 2017 Author Posted August 4, 2017 Three separate instructions on one sign? [First one: Worrying, third one: How else?] 2
Ketlane Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Was on the M6 a few years back. The sign didn't for once tell me to check my fuel (if I am so stupid I need to be told that, possibly I'm too stupid to read the sign and obey it); instead in advised me to "Thin Bike" - so maybe Highways England can't spell, or maybe they think we should be squeezing bikers?
markwilfan Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 This is my favourite sign just near Exeter. Sign not in use lol 1
6Foot2 Posted August 5, 2017 Author Posted August 5, 2017 ...Sign not in use... Sign made for the job: 2
Oddbod Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Did they have a double yellow line convention here recently?
korifugi Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Did they have a double yellow line convention here recently? They'd planned one - but parking is terrible.
CAM Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 This is my favourite sign just near Exeter. Sign not in use lol Technically makes sense because a blank gantry can invalidate temporary speed limits unless you make it clear it is switched off.
DJ-1701 Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Spot the difference between the right and left signs on the same turning. This has been the same for over a decade... including the old signs which were replaced with these. 1

This has been the same for over a decade... including the old signs which were replaced with these. Haha thought they fixed that a few years back! In all fairness though, with the company that runs it are you surprised. The same company that before tried to charge one of our old techs a fine for parking for too long (He wasn't parked at all, and went through Maccys DriveThru twice in one day but apparently that breaks their no-returns rule ) Steve 1
rad Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 This one is on the way to the 'rents house (yes others around the country exist too)
stevejp Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 This one is on the way to the 'rents house (yes others around the country exist too) Best not to advertise them too much - they may be needed, soon!

john Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Rock on! awww I know that sign
DJ-1701 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Which way now? All roads lead to Rome hey?
korifugi Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Which way now? That's obviously a choice between the high road and the low road (but who'll be in Scotland 'afore ye?)
